Whether you are new to the Automatic Renewal Service, or you want to change your Renewal Reminder Account to an Automatic Renewal Account, it’s easy and free to do!

Setting up a brand new Automatic Renewal Account

It’s easy and free to set up your account! Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to autorenew.ca
  2. Click Get Started Now!
  3. Choose a registry of choice (this is the registry that will process your renewals every year)
  4. Create a password for your account
  5. Add as many vehicles as you like, your credit card info, and choose your delivery option (your registry may offer mail or courier delivery service, or just a customer pickup option)
  6. Click Save

 

Converting an existing Renewal Reminder Account to an Automatic Renewal Account

You’ve been receiving reminders to renew your registration – now let the system do the work for you!

Step 1: Access your Renewal Reminder Account

Go to www.e-registry.ca, and choose the Renewal Reminder Service option.

On the right side of the screen, please enter the email address you used to sign up for the service, and click the blue button to the right.

You will be sent a link – please click this right away (it will expire) to access your account.

 

Step 2: Convert your Renewal Reminder Account

Once you have accessed your Renewal Reminder Account you will see a blue button to Convert Your Account.

Click the button to start your new Automatic Renewal Account!

 

Step 3: Add your account details

Make sure your personal information is correct under Customer Details

To add vehicles to your account:

  1. click Edit, and choose Vehicles from the menu
  2. fill in your vehicle details: plate number, registration number, vehicle type, first and last names on the registration, address
  3. check the box to confirm you have valid insurance for your vehicle
  4. check the box if you are a Senior (to receive the Senior’s Discount!) or if your vehicle is fully electric (EV)
  5. once you have added all the vehicles you want to, click Save

To choose your shipping method:

  1. click Edit and choose Shipping Info from the menu
  2. choose your shipping method (your registry may only offer Customer Pickup, or they may also offer Mail, Courier or Express Post delivery)
  3. if you are able to choose Mail, Courier or Express Post, add your address for delivery
  4. click Save

To add a payment method:

  1. click Edit and choose Payment from the menu
  2. add your credit card details, including the expiry date and CVD number from the back of the card
  3. click Save
