How can I get a refund on my Express Renewal?
Your Express Renewal payment is processed by your registry’s own chosen payment provider. If you processed an Express Renewal transaction and have changed your mind, please contact the registry directly to request a refund.
My Express Renewal transaction failed/was refunded—what do I do now?
If you receive a notification that you received a refund on your Express Renewal transaction, it could be that your renewal failed for one of these common reasons:
- Your registration was already renewed for this year
- You have outstanding fines on your registration which are preventing your registry from completing the renewal
- Your credit card was declined
If your transaction was cancelled or refunded, to find out the reason why and to resolve the issue, please contact your registry directly.
I got an error message when I tried to process my payment—what do I do?
Sometimes system errors occur which are different from a failed or refunded payment. System errors can happen suddenly and unpredictably.
If you receive an error message when you try to complete your Express Renewal payment:
- Wait a while and try your payment again. Give it an hour or two, or even a bit longer, to allow us to fix the problem.
- If you are still receiving error messages, contact the e-registry.ca Help Desk.
