How to cancel your Renewal Reminder Account
You’ve moved, sold your car, or just don’t need the reminders anymore. It’s ok, you can delete your Renewal Reminder Account at anytime. There is an “Unsubscribe” link provided with your email and text reminders, but it is also a good idea to make sure that your account is deleted.
To delete your account:
- Go to reminders.e-registry.ca and enter your email address or phone number on the right side of the page under Returning Customers
- You will receive an email or text message with a link to access your account
- Once you have accessed your account, click the red Delete button at the bottom of the page
- If the site asks you if you are sure you would like to delete the account, click to confirm
You can also contact the e-registry.ca Help Desk to help delete your account, or make sure that you have deleted it.
Another option: the Automatic Vehicle Registration Renewal Service
You’ve cancelled your Renewal Reminders, but now you would like to upgrade to an account that also automatically renew your vehicle registration for you.
You can sign up for an Automatic Vehicle Registration Renewal Account at autorenew.ca. As long as you have already cancelled your Renewal Reminder Account, your email address should be free to use for your Automatic Renewal account.
